At the beginning of the Great Depression Henry Shaw Crombie started a small mechanical contracting company in Vancouver, BC that has consistently strived over the years to produce excellent work. Although the focus of the company started with small plumbing and heating installations, H.S. Crombie is now capable of a wide range of industrial piping and mechanical design and installations.

Since the beginning, H.S. Crombie has successfully completed breweries, dairies, hospitals, effluent treatment plants, research facilities, industrial plants, boiler plants and many other installations. A major specialty has become FOOD PROCESS SANITARY STAINLESS STEEL PIPING AND EQUIPMENT.

Although we are highly experienced in installation, we are also able to provide our clients with complete services including, design, cost control and specialty subtrades. Our projects are undertaken as firm tenders, negotiated contracts or on a full service turnkey basis including design, drawing and specifications.
