M&B Introductions Limited – PRIVACY STATEMENT

M&B Introductions Ltd. (M&B) provides private and secure information management services.

Private means that you are assured that M&B will not share with, nor sell your personal information to, anyone or any organization except as required under this policy. Period. No personal information is collected about you unless you voluntarily supply it to us for your profile. All personal information provided to us is subject to the protections of the provincial Privacy Act of British Columbia. At the time of receiving any personal information from you, you will be advised that such information is personal and will be received for the limited use and conditions of this policy and the M&B services, and you will be asked for your consent in that regard at that time. Our main web server does not use cookies or other session management methods to collect personal data about visitors or use. Technology dictates that the server is aware of a visitors’ ISP (internet service provider), but this gives us no information about the individual user. If support servers are required which use session cookies, you will be notified in advance.

Secure means that M&B seeks the most current and best practices to implement information acquisition, access and storage, which preserve the confidentiality and integrity of your information. M&B uses a four-component approach to information security:

	1. Confidentiality: through encryption of electronic data, secured fireproof hardcopy file storage, and employee and computer-service consultant integrity warrantees.

	2. Authenticity of Use: through three-way digital “signatures” for access, such as requiring your name, an alphabetical keyword and a six-digit PIN, to verify the identity of users who access the controlled services.

	3. Integrity of Data: through anti-virus software and precautions to prevent unauthorized changes, to maintain the accuracy of data in the system, and a controlled process for changing data.

	4. Access Control: through digital signatures and SSL encryption, we intend to take reasonable steps to protect the data from unauthorized access and disclosures.

We maintain information and privacy policies and technologies to safe-guard client information and communications from unauthorized intrusions. An important security measure is our use of 128-bit secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption, which is the standard typically used by banks and governments.
